So since Scotland didn’t make it to the world cup in South Africa, who will you be supporting and betting on to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup Football? As a big Scottish footie supporter, I won’t be supporting England, haha, but I will be supporting USA and Slovenia. Hopefully they can knock England out of this years world cup. In an Edinburgh casino I put a small bet on Slovenia to beat England on Wednesday.

So far this world cup has been difficult for many of the big football nations like Spain, Italy, France, England, Germany and Portugal. So let’s see who will make it to the next round. Argentina and Brazil look solid and possible favorites to get to the final.

It’s a pity that the likes of Fletcher, McGeady and Gordon are not taking part, but I guess it will be a while before we see a strong Scotland team. We need more influential players like we had in the past with Souness, Dalglish, Hansen, McAllister and Law.
